Meet Ryan

LeadYourChange was founded on more than twenty-five years of coaching experience in helping people navigate transition. The heart of his work is a strong-held belief that everyone can and is responsible for aligning their actions with their values to create lasting healthy change.  He knows that with experienced support and the right tools, everyone can truly thrive through it.

Ryan is an experienced coach who has dedicated his career to supporting and guiding athletes, professionals, families and couples through transition.  His person-centric approach has enabled a career in supporting leadership and change with an emphasis on merger integration and organizational change management. Combining his business education (BComm) with his passion for people (CPHR) Ryan has a reputation for leading with empathy and clarity through complex change. His work has touched the lives of hundreds of leaders and thousands of families across North America through professional transitions like mergers, job changes and restructuring.  Additionally, he has supported deeply personal transitions such as divorce, loss and life reorientation.

Ryan’s desire to create space to better support others became even more meaningful during his own period of profound personal changes of loss, grief and divorce. He turned inward — applying the same principles he had long taught others — and deepened his own commitment to courage, resilience and self-leadership. Through professional coaching, mindfulness and wellness practices, he emerged with a renewed sense of balance and purpose.  Today, Ryan brings that lived experience to his coaching practice, supporting clients to lead their change with courage, intention and compassion.

Outside of work, Ryan finds grounding and joy in the outdoors.  He is often hiking, camping, paddling or adventuring with his close friends and family.  He is an avid backcountry skier, runner and amateur chef who often can be found playing on the ocean or in the mountains with his sons. A life-long learner and creative at heart, Ryan enjoys traveling, culture, pottery and is constantly seeking connection, balance and new perspectives.
